The new SKLR

Introducing the world's smallest high power light fitting.

The EU's ban on halogen has made the switch to LED light fittings an irreversible trend in process observation.

Compared to halogen light bulbs, however, LEDs (and the associated electronics) are much more sensitive to high temperatures. This is a challenge if high outputs are to be achieved in small housings. Despite their high efficiency, LED modules also generate considerable heat at high light outputs, which must be dissipated through the housing (otherwise it will destroy the LEDs and the electronics). Until now, this problem has been solved by either (a) large housings or (b) reduced light output.

Neither of these approaches are satisfactory for our clients in process observation. Space is generally limited and, depending on the size of the vessel, high light outputs are still required.

We are therefore very pleased to present the world's smallest high power light fitting: The SKLR

The SKLR is...

  • super powerful: 2,300 Lm (equivalent to a halogen luminous flux of ~100W)
  • super compact: ⌀ 79 x 117 mm
  • super resistant: +60°C/ IP 65/67

The PowerLED© module used has a very high efficiency level of 128 lumen/watt. Please note that the watt number only reflects the power consumed (= input), not the luminous flux produced (= output, indicated in lumens). Alternative products with higher watt numbers may have a lower output (in lumens) if they are less efficient. In these cases, less energy (= input) is converted into light (= output), but rather into heat.

We look forward to hearing from you!
